It is a new year! I’ve always been a little into making resolutions, but this year has been full of them. However, I do plan to do it all slowly (we do get a whole year) so that I will make changes that stay. Whenever we visit my boyfriend’s parent’s house, we always borrow books. This Christmas, I brought home Clear Your Clutter with Feng Shui. It is written by Karen Kingston, who also wrote Creating Sacred Space with Feng Shui. This book really helped me learn why clutter is so bad. It is not just physical, but emotional as well. You can check out Karen’s blog on her website, where she gives very helpful information. Also, earlier in the week, the Today Show had a segment on clearing clutter that echoed what I was reading in the book. I am so excited about the changes we are making to our house as well as looking forward to the new year! I hope everyone is inspired to make positive changes in their life this year and I hope that my blog can be somewhere that readers can take some time out and focus on yourselves and what is important to you. Happy New Year!
PS These are my beautiful peonies I wrote about on my last post. I dried one and attached it to a present for my boyfriend’s father. I hope he enjoys it!
