My favorite store in London is Liberty. They are known for their printed fabric that you can purchase by the yard, as well as being a luxury department store with unique architecture. I love the furniture and home accessories floors because of the unusual displays, like the wooden shoes that display their paint colors that one can purchase. We tried to sneak some pictures, but you really have to visit in person to get the full sense of wonderment that the store provides. The store is divided into rooms, but they all had an art nouveau feel. This style, which was popular at the turn of the 20th century, is also reflected in the clothing styles (there was one mini skirt that had a bustle back that I loved!). Since Liberty is one of the leaders in defining styles, I plan on using their store as inspiration.
