Dover Publications makes all kinds of interesting books, ranging from titles like “Famous Movie Wedding Gowns Paper Dolls” to “At Fault” by Kate Chopin. The books are meant to be fun and educational and are great for kids. However, I like their website because they provide a free sampler every week. A few pages from a selection of books are available to download, which I use as a source of inspiration. I’ve gotten all kinds of cute clip art, such as this week’s “Women Advertising Cuts of the 20s and 30s Clip Art” and “Full-Color Heraldic Designs Clip Art”, as well as free puzzles, which are great to print out and slip into my bag to work when I’m somewhere and don’t have anything to do. The Egyptian clip art above was one of last week’s samples. The clip art and motifs are great to use on school projects, as well as scrapbooking, mood boards, or just as eye candy! Visit www.doverpublications.com to sign up for the free weekly sampler.
